Day 1 – Saturday – Alter do Chão Flight from São Paulo to Santarém, in the Pará State and immediate transfer to Alter do Chão, a magnificent beach at the Tapajós River, where we have dinner and meet our group.
Day 2 - Sunday - Urucureá Village Wake up early and get the boat through the Arapiuns River to Urucureá, a small village where we have the first contact with local community, with whom we have recreation activities such as soccer, volleyball and other. Afterwards, we leave to observe the monkeys that leave around the village. At night, we celebrate with local people in a party on the riverbanks. (B) (L) (D)
Day 3 - Monday - Urucureá Village Wake up and leave for a tour through the great Amazon River where we visit a local community school and have contact with the Amazon children. On this tour, it is possible to see the wonderful pink dolphins. For this visit we ask to the members of our group to take scholar material to be donated to these students. At night, returning to Urucureá, we meet with the community for dinner. (B) (L) (D)
Day 4 - Tuesday - Suruacá Today we visit the Suruacá Village, located on the left side of the Tapajós River. There we visit a telecommunication center where local people have their first contact with internet via satellite. We also have a cultural meeting between tourists and local community where both groups exchange its own experiences, learning with each (B) (L) (D)
Day 5 – Wednesday - Suruacá Accompanied by local children, we leave for a hike in the Igarapé Saint Quitéria, name given to the small tributary of Tapajós, where it is possible to explore every secret of Amazon Forest. There it is possible to feel the humid air inside the jungle, the sounds of birds and monkeys, the smell of the wood and leafs. An explosion of sensations you will never forget. Afterwards we visit a Caboclo house, where it is produced the manioc flour, that is the base of Amazon people alimentation. Cultural night. (B) (L) (D)
Day 6 – Thursday - Jamaraquá Early in the morning we leave to Jamaraquá another village on the right margin of Tapajós River, where we know another community. (B) (L) (D)
Day 7 - Friday- Maguary Friday is reserved for trekking in one of the trails track inside the jungle. Walking through the dense bush, it is possible to see different species of birds and plants, such as the Piquiá, one of the largest trees in Amazon. Stop to rest in the Igapó, indigenous name for the lower lands of the forest which are invade by the big rivers during the rainy season. The igapó is the where fishes, mammals and all kind of animals go looking for food, creating an incomparable explosion of life. (B) (L) (D)
Day 8 - Saturday - Alter do Chão In the morning we return to Alter do Chão. After check in at the lodge the group has a brief conversation to evaluate the trip and where the participants share its own impressions. Free afternoon to enjoy the wonderful beach of Alter do Chão. (B) (L) (D)
Day 9 –Monday - Departure to São Paulo Wake up and go to Santarém where we connect flight to São Paulo. End of our services. (B)
